Kurakichi Matsuya Ginza

Best tempura in tokyo!

Many Chinese tourists can be found in Matsuya Ginza. This department store is beautiful with full of fashionable boutiques offering cloths, accessories, household items, etc. You can find restaurants on the top floor, food corner at the basement floor.

Perfect place to shop all in one place. Prepare yourself for a pleasant shopping experience. Friendly staffs and good hospitality. Don't forget to get tax refund at B1.

Asakusa main store opened in 1931 is much more for locals. This upscale branch at Ginza is for anybody with deep pockets. Of course qlty of product is very high even at supermarket. While many department stores have diminished this section but they still have a very attactive supermarket at heart of the city to replenish your daily needs. Do remember to bring more ¥ along.

Very fun place. Lots of high quality products and fresh foods. Service is great on each floor, and a great variety of any kind of product. The place is deceptively large but well organized. Good place to go for high quality shopping of any type

A great department store to buy a wide selection of kimono. Our daughter does Japanese dance in Canada. She asked that we look for a particular style of kimono - and this store had several.

In my ciew it's more convenient, than the neigboring Mitsukoshi

Went here because Matsuya Ginza provides prayer space for muslim on Rooftop. Alhamdulillah. While shopping here, muslim could still do the obligation. If you are using Ginza Line, follow A13 for exit, Hibiya Line A9 exit.

Love the basement food and dessert selection. Presentation is awesome wish could eat and sample everything. How nice if there's such thing as food sampling forba small price

The world of very high competitive restaurant

The staff was very helpful and friendly and they have a specific area for petites. We also received a 5% discount for showing our passport.

A very pretty, very nice mall. Not a surprise, considering you're in Ginza. If you're lucky, they'll be filming some kind of performance outside and you can pretend to be a J-Pop Idol fan.

Essentially the Macy's/Bay of Japan. 8 floors + 2 basements floors. I'd recommend checking out the basement floors for some good value packaged foods because there is a lot of variety (sandwiches, bread, meat, prepackaged meals, etc)

The food especially the dessert was quite expensive

Lovely place. There are a fruit, cook food and sushi on the basement.

Very busy street, it has so many luxury stores. it was one of the best places in Tokyo.

Love the store. They have halal ice cream at B1 and tempura at L8 here...

Good department store. Super market section is a little small.

A bit old but still most of brands are there. Restaurants are pricy. Recommend to go others around for food. But B1 food, snakes and bakery are good

After Isetan, another department store where I visited only the food hall. Again, it was pretty amazing to see the love of Japanese for quality in all types of food. The variety of food is also mind-boggling.

Great department shopping centre

I generally depend on them for all my luxury shopping of Japanese skin care and makeup products for family members and matcha purchase . They also have great food area in basement with limited but quite interesting vegetarian options!

A prayer room is provided for Muslims at the rooftop. Take the elevator to the rooftop.

Very nice place in 5 star shopping area tokyo

Lots of fashion, shoes, and beauty products. Well, it still looks and feels same like back in 2003. But it fades in comparison to Ginza6 which is just a block away. So, the selection is main stream upper price range. And the restaurant floor is also somehow dated. All in all, it's not bad or poor but there are new players doing a better job.

This department store is absolutely awesome. It is unbelievable having all the luxury brands in only one place. Disregarding the high prices, I enjoyed seeing good clothing. The staff is always friendly no matter if you dont buy.
